Our Staff
Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced clinicians. All clinicians are licensed professionals and all maintain the required number of CEUs.
Our goal is to provide you the best possible hearing care, based upon your individual needs. We provide a comprehensive array of services related to prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of hearing impairment.
Hubert Smith, III
With more than 25 years of experience, Hubert is a 2nd generation hearing aid dealer. His Mother and Father were the founders of Smith's Hearing Care Centers. After working with his parents and helping to manage more than 25 offices and service centers over the years, Hubert works hard to make sure that the Smith's name is as trusted today as it has been for more than 40 years.
Gene Griffin
Gene Griffin has been fitting hearing aids since 2002. He is owner of the Smith’s Hearing Care in Washington, N.C. Gene is dedicated to carry on the quality of service and trust that the Smith’s have enjoyed for many years in these markets. Gene is from eastern N.C. and maintains that customer service will always be a priority at Smith’s. Our patients care is our #1 concern.
William McVicar
William received a Bachelor's degree from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and continued is studies at The University of Connecticut where he received his Master's degree.
Trained as a scientist, William posses an unusual level of understanding of physics and organic chemistry as they relate to the process of human hearing. William works closely with the ENT's (ear, nose & throat physicians) who routinely refer patients to our centers for hearing help. William enjoys meeting people and looks forward to helping you with your hearing problems.
